On February 24, 2022, Russia (the largest country in the world), commenced a brutal and unprovoked full scale invasion of Ukraine, a sovereign and independent nation 28 times smaller in land mass than Russia.
This invasion violates the United Nations Charter and breaks international law, threatening global security on every level. Russia is systematically committing thousands of war crimes and acts of genocide against Ukraine by continuing to bomb and destroy Ukrainian cities and infrastructure, and continuing to kill, rape, and deport Ukrainian civilians under occupation. Over 8 million Ukrainians have been internally displaced and over 6 million Ukrainians have become refugees into neighboring countries.
Despite the horrific aggression, Ukrainians have heroically resisted and bravely defended their land. Thanks to help from nations across the globe, Ukraine can and must win this war. There is no other way to bring Peace to Europe and beyond.
"This is a war over a fundamental definition of civilization. A battle to show everybody else, including Russia, to respect sovereignty, human rights, territorial integrity; and to respect people, not to kill people, not to rape women, not to kill animals, not to take that which is not yours.” -Volodymyr Zelenkyy, President of Ukraine.

The Tryzub (or “Trident”) is the Coat of Arms of Ukraine. It’s origins are over a thousand years old and can be found on 10th century coins from the ancient Kyivan Rus state, located on the territory of modern Ukraine, it's capital the same Kyiv of today. Full of symbolism, there are over 40 theories of the tryzub's actual meaning, including the trinity, falcon wings, a child in between parents, a bow & arrow, an anchor & trident, a sword & plough, or an ancient symbol of water. The Cyrillic letters for word “Freedom” in Ukrainian, “Volya” (В, О, Л, Я - воля - volya - freedom), can be found within the symbol. Today, the tryzub not only represents the invincibility of the Ukrainian people, but it also symbolizes the fight for independence against all odds, the will to sacrifice everything for a chance to live free, and the desire for peace, that can only come with victory over the aggressor.

We are designers and engineers based in California who on our free time fabricate tryzubs as our way of standing with and supporting Ukraine's fight against Russian aggression. As Americans we understand that Ukraine is defending the very ideals of Democracy and everything that it represents: entrereneurship, liberty, civil society, rule of law, and freedom.
We use a CNC milling machine to fabricate the tryzubs from 1.5mm (0.63") black and gold annodized aluminum plates.
